Gunfire damages building in Limassol overnight

Shots were fired at a building in the Linopetra area of Limassol on Wednesday night, with police investigating the incident.

According to a police update, the Limassol shooting occurred at around 22:50, when an unknown person or persons opened fire on the building.

Initial examinations indicate that the gunfire damaged the glass of the building’s main entrance, as well as a first-floor window.

Police are carrying out examinations at the scene, while Limassol CID is continuing its investigation into the shooting.
