The Pancyprian Cooperative Society for Participation and Promotion of Cooperativism Ltd has warned the public about an attempted fraud targeting potential investors through fake websites and social media accounts.
The company said it has already reported the case to police.
According to a statement, the fake websites and social media accounts falsely claim to provide support services for online access to the company’s share market.
The company urged the public to exercise extreme caution, avoid unofficial sources and not provide personal or financial information.
Official share application website
The company clarified that its official website is www.pccppc.cy.
Following official approval by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission on July 22, 2026, online applications to become a member and purchase shares can be submitted exclusively through www.shares.pccpc.cy, which the company identifies as its secure platform.
The company also stressed that it operates its own call centre and that no individual or legal entity has been authorised to act, mediate or provide support services on its behalf.
Company urges public to use official channels
The company said its formal complaint to police requested the immediate shutdown of the websites and social media accounts it described as illegal.
For information or to verify details, members of the public are urged to contact the company exclusively through its official channels.
