Limassol: Food delivery rider attacked, motorcycle and money stolen

Police are investigating a robbery involving a 25-year-old food delivery rider in the early hours of Tuesday.

According to information under investigation, at around 2.30am, the 25-year-old was riding his motorcycle in the Erimi area when he was approached by two unknown individuals.

The two suspects allegedly attacked and assaulted the rider before taking his motorcycle and a waist bag containing €100. They then fled the scene.

Rider treated at Limassol General Hospital

The 25-year-old went to Limassol General Hospital, where he received first aid before being discharged.

During police investigations, the rider’s motorcycle was found abandoned in an open plot of land in Limassol.

The Episkopi Police Station is continuing investigations into the robbery.
