Paphos power cuts are scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2026, in several areas of the district due to maintenance work on the medium-voltage overhead electricity network.
According to the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (EAC), the outage in Goudi will take place from 8 am to 10 am.
From 8 am to 2 pm, power will be interrupted in Pano Akourdalia, Kato Akourdalia, Terra, Skoulli, Choli and the northwestern part of Kritou Terra.
Further outages from 10am
Between 10 am and 2 pm, the power cut will affect Giolou, Miliou, Simou, Loukrounou, Kritou Terra, Pano Arodes, Kato Arodes, Ineia, Drousia and Pittokopos.
The EAC stressed that the outage may not last for the entire scheduled period. However, for safety reasons, consumers should treat their installations as remaining energised throughout the planned interruption.
Maintenance works needed for network safety
The Electricity Authority apologised for any inconvenience caused, noting that the works are necessary to maintain the medium-voltage overhead network and ensure its safe operation.
