Christodoulides-Erhürman to meet again on 2 September

The next meeting between the two leaders has been set for 2 September, according to Government Spokesman Konstantinos Letymbiotis, who on Thursday also announced the members representing the Greek Cypriot side on the Steering Committee of the Civil Society Advisory Body.

Speaking during a briefing for journalists at the Presidential Palace, the Spokesman announced that the next meeting between the two leaders will take place on 2 September at 15:00.

He also announced the members representing the Greek Cypriot side on the Steering Committee of the Civil Society Advisory Body. They are Pantelis Poiitis, Alexandros Lordos, Amalia Avraam, Sofia Papamichalopoulos and Marios Michaelides.

He said the establishment of the body was among the wishes expressed by the UN Secretary-General, adding that, alongside its permanent members, it will also include 50 people from each community. They will discuss issues concerning everyday life, with participants changing depending on the subject under discussion.
