The post-mortem examination on the burned body discovered outside a burning vehicle in the village of Avgorou has confirmed that the victim died as a result of charring.
The examination was carried out on Monday by forensic pathologist Nikola Charalambous.
DNA samples taken for identification
According to the post-mortem findings, the cause of death was determined to be charring.
During the examination, forensic specialists also collected DNA samples to establish the identity of the deceased.
Police investigations into the case are continuing.
