Bird Aviation signs seven-year maintenance deal with easyJet

Date:

Bird Aviation has signed a long-term agreement with easyJet for the provision of scheduled aircraft maintenance services at its facilities in Larnaca.

According to the company, the easyJet maintenance agreement has an initial term of seven years, with an option to extend it for a further three years.

Heavy maintenance for Airbus A320 fleet

The agreement covers two maintenance lines and includes scheduled heavy maintenance checks for easyJet’s Airbus A320 family aircraft.

The work will be carried out at Bird Aviation’s maintenance facilities in Cyprus.

Long-standing partnership

Bird Aviation said the agreement builds on the long-standing cooperation between the two companies and provides a stable framework for the continued delivery of heavy maintenance services.

The company added that the partnership further strengthens the role of its Larnaca facilities in supporting easyJet maintenance operations and the airline’s fleet maintenance programme in the years ahead.
