The Republic of Cyprus will restore the option to submit visa applications through BLS International centres in Russia from 6 July, expanding access for Russian citizens seeking entry permits.
According to an announcement cited by the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR), applications will once again be accepted through multiple diplomatic missions and visa processing centres across the country.
Locations across major Russian cities
Applicants will be able to submit visa requests at the Embassy of Cyprus in Moscow, as well as the Consulates General in Saint Petersburg, Yekaterinburg and Krasnodar.
In addition, visa applications will be processed through BLS International centres operating in eight Russian cities.
Service fees and additional options
The service fee at visa centres has been set at €5 (excluding VAT), with optional additional services available at extra cost.
Authorities said the reopening of these centres will facilitate visa issuance for both tourism and business travel purposes.
Previous suspension of applications
Visa centre operations had been suspended from 13 June, with applications subsequently accepted only through the consular section of the Embassy in Moscow and the relevant Consulates General.
The restoration of services marks a return to the broader processing network previously used for Cypriot visa applications in Russia.
