The woman injured in the shooting in Limassol remains in critical condition at a private hospital, according to a spokesperson for the Police Communication Branch who spoke to the Cyprus News Agency (CNA).
The 46-year-old was shot by her husband on 30 June and continues to receive medical treatment.
Police investigation ongoing
Police also said in a statement issued yesterday that authorities continue a full and thorough criminal investigation into the Limassol shooting case.
The statement noted that any public comments regarding the circumstances or facts surrounding the crime would be premature and could affect the investigation process.
No further comments for now
For this reason, police said they will not provide any further comment until investigators complete the ongoing procedures related to the case.
