Check which benefits you may be eligible for through gov.cy

Date:

A new digital platform designed to help citizens identify possible government benefits has been launched, offering personalised guidance based on user-provided information, the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy announced on Wednesday.

Digital tool for government benefits

The new service, titled “Find benefits you may qualify for”, allows users to discover relevant government benefits by answering a short series of questions related to employment, studies, household composition, income, property ownership, disability and health status.

The system then matches responses with available government benefits and presents a list of schemes the user may potentially qualify for.

Wide range of available schemes

According to the announcement, the platform currently includes 45 government benefits covering areas such as welfare payments, social insurance benefits, student grants, and rent subsidies for displaced persons.

Officials noted that the service will be continuously expanded with additional government benefits and public services over time.

Access via gov.cy

The service is available through the official government portal gov.cy, where users can access the questionnaire and view the full list of supported benefits.

Additional information about all included schemes is also available through a dedicated online page linked to the platform.

Indicative results only

Authorities clarified that the results provided by the tool are purely indicative, as they are based solely on the information entered by the user.

Final eligibility for any government benefits is determined by the relevant authorities in accordance with official criteria.
