Cyprus weather will remain mainly clear today, with temperatures climbing to around 39°C inland as seasonal low pressure continues to affect the region.
According to the latest forecast, winds will initially blow southwesterly to northwesterly at weak to moderate strength (3-4 Beaufort), gradually strengthening to moderate to strong (4-5 Beaufort) later in the day.
Sea conditions are expected to remain slight to a little rough.
Temperatures are forecast to reach around 39°C inland, approximately 29°C along the western coast, around 33°C in the remaining coastal areas, and close to 28°C in the higher mountain regions.
Clear skies overnight
Tonight, conditions will remain mainly clear. However, during the early morning hours, patches of light fog and low cloud are expected to form in some areas, mainly inland and in eastern parts of the island.
Winds will gradually become variable and weak, reaching up to 3 Beaufort, while the sea will remain slight to a little rough.
Temperatures overnight are expected to drop to around 22°C inland, 23°C along the coast, and 18°C in the higher mountains.
Outlook for the coming days
Cyprus weather is expected to remain mainly clear on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Temperatures will record a slight drop on Thursday before increasing slightly again on Friday, remaining near to and above average seasonal levels.
