An urgent blood donation appeal has been issued by blood banks in Cyprus for the woman who was injured in an attempted murder incident in the Zakaki area of Limassol.
According to a message sent to regular blood donors, the appeal concerns donation centres in Engomi and Geri in the Nicosia district.
Donors are being asked to respond immediately, with facilities remaining open until 20:00.
Authorities and blood banks are urging the public to contribute, as the injured woman remains in critical condition following the serious incident in Zakaki.
The appeal is part of emergency efforts to ensure sufficient blood supplies for ongoing treatment.
Blood donation stations in Engomi and Geri are currently receiving donors, with officials stressing the importance of immediate participation from eligible volunteers.
