An investigation is under way after the death of a one-year-old infant in hospital in Limassol.
Authorities are examining the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, while the exact cause of death has not yet been established.
Post-mortem examination to determine cause
The cause of the Limassol infant death is expected to be determined through a post-mortem examination, which will be carried out by the Director of the Forensic Pathology Service, Angeliki Papetta, together with forensic pathologist Orthodoxos Orthodoxou.
Authorities have not released further details as investigations continue.
