Limassol beach cleaning boosted with new equipment

Municipality upgrades beach maintenance fleet

Limassol Municipality has strengthened its beach cleaning operations with the addition of a new state-of-the-art machine designed to improve sand maintenance and enhance services for residents and visitors.

According to the municipality, the newly delivered BeachTech 5500 will be used for the systematic cleaning of the city’s beaches, helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness and beach quality throughout the year.

Investment in modern equipment

The municipality said the introduction of modern equipment forms part of its ongoing efforts to upgrade public cleaning services and improve the efficiency of municipal operations.

The purchase of the new machine is part of a broader programme to modernise the equipment used by municipal services.

Improving services for residents and visitors

Limassol Municipality said the investment reflects its commitment to continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of the services it provides to both local residents and the thousands of visitors who use the city’s beaches each year.
