A 39-year-old Russian tourist is in serious condition at a hospital in Cyprus following an incident in Limassol, according to reports by the Russian Telegram channel Baza.
According to the report, the woman had allegedly consumed drugs and alcohol before she began running naked through the streets.
Reports claim collision followed confusion
According to the same information, the woman later attempted to enter a passing vehicle. The driver, reportedly startled by the incident, allegedly lost control and collided with another car.
Passers-by reportedly contacted police, while Baza claimed officers initially struggled to restrain the woman.
Woman reportedly placed in induced coma
Shortly afterwards, the woman reportedly collapsed and, according to the report, was foaming at the mouth.
She was rushed to hospital, where tests allegedly showed the presence of both drugs and alcohol in her system.
Baza reported that her condition was considered particularly serious, with doctors reportedly intubating her and placing her in a medically induced coma.
The Russian media outlet also claimed that the woman had arrived in Cyprus at the beginning of June for holidays.
