Heavy delays reported on Nicosia-Limassol route

Motorists are facing significant delays on the Nicosia-Limassol route following a road collision involving a single vehicle.

According to authorities, the incident resulted in material damage only, but has caused Nicosia traffic congestion on the outbound carriageway from the capital towards Limassol.

Traffic backed up to Athalassa exit

The congestion stretches from the Kalispera traffic lights to the Athalassa exit, with vehicles moving slowly through the affected area.

Drivers are being urged to exercise caution, remain patient and allow extra travel time while traffic conditions improve.
