At least six killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza

Date:

At least six people were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip yesterday, AFP reported, citing information from the Civil Defence service and hospitals in the Palestinian enclave.

Azzam Khalil al-Hayya, the son of a senior Hamas figure, was wounded in one of the Israeli attacks on Gaza City, a security services source told AFP.

Five people were killed in two Israeli attacks on Gaza City, health officials told AFP.

Another person was killed and 15 others were wounded near Khan Younis, according to Nasser Hospital. A security source in Gaza clarified that the man killed near Khan Younis was an officer in Hamas’s police force.

Despite the ceasefire agreed in October 2025, Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip have not stopped. At least 837 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire agreement came into effect, according to the Hamas-controlled Health Ministry in Gaza.

On the Israeli side, five soldiers have been killed in the Gaza Strip over the same period.
