87-year-old man succumbed to his injuries after a road accident in Kokkinotrimithia

An 87-year-old man, Eleftherios Koumoulis, originally from Mammari, has succumbed to his injuries following a road accident that occurred on April 29.

According to Police, while the 87-year-old was driving his car on Griva Digeni Avenue in Kokkinotrimithia, under circumstances still under investigation, he lost control of his vehicle and collided with a light truck driven by a 35-year-old man.

As a result of the collision, the 87-year-old was seriously injured and had been hospitalized in critical condition.

The 35-year-old was also taken to Nicosia General Hospital, where he received first aid and was later discharged.

The Kokkinotrimithia Police Station continues its investigations.
