Kolonos: 11 guilty in child prostitution case

The Mixed Jury Court (MOC) has found 11 out of 17 defendants guilty in the ongoing trial involving the sexual exploitation and abuse of a 12-year-old girl from Kolonos.

The court determined that the 11 defendants engaged in sexual acts with the minor in exchange for payment. Some verdicts were unanimous, while others were reached by majority decision. Additionally, one defendant was convicted on a reduced charge of pornography, which was downgraded from a felony to a misdemeanor.

Six defendants were acquitted unanimously by the court, which included three regular judges and four jurors. Of those convicted, eight were found guilty unanimously, while three were convicted by majority.

The case is still ongoing, with sentencing decisions to follow in the next phase of the proceedings.
