Scheduled activity in British Bases area
The Police informed the public that a controlled explosion will take place today, Thursday, at the British Bases in Akrotiri. Authorities confirmed the activity poses no risk to residents.
Timing and reassurance
According to the Police, based on information from the British Bases, the minor explosion will occur between 10:30 and 11:00. Residents should remain calm as the procedure forms part of routine activities at the Bases.
