Road accident in Paphos leaves 68-year-old in critical condition

Collision on Priamou Street under investigation

A serious road accident occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday on Priamou Street in Paphos, resulting in critical injuries to a 68-year-old driver. Authorities report that the man’s vehicle collided with a car driven by a 27-year-old, which also carried two passengers aged 39 and 31.

Driver undergoes surgery and ICU admission

The 68-year-old sustained severe injuries and was transported by ambulance to Nicosia General Hospital. He underwent surgery and, due to the critical nature of his condition, was subsequently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit, where he remains under close monitoring.

Ongoing police investigation

The Paphos Traffic Department is continuing its investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the collision.
