A total of 950 people were repatriated to Cyprus

Sixth chartered flight arrives

With the arrival on Saturday night of the sixth chartered flight from the United Arab Emirates, a total of 950 people have been repatriated to Cyprus. The group primarily consists of Cypriots and their family members, along with permanent residents and European citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

Ongoing consular support

In a Sunday statement, the Ministry confirmed it will continue providing consular assistance through its diplomatic missions to Cypriot citizens affected and currently in countries across the region and beyond, facilitating their safe return to Cyprus.

Government services acknowledged

The Ministry thanked all government services that supported the operation, particularly the staff of the Ministry of Defence and the Civil Aviation Department, for their contribution to the repatriation efforts.
