Knife-point robbery at Germasogeia kiosk, suspect flees

A robbery was carried out yesterday afternoon at a kiosk in Germasogeia.

According to the Police, at around 5:15 p.m. a man entered the premises with his head covered by a hoodie and wearing a medical mask over his face.

The suspect, threatening the 48-year-old kiosk employee with a knife, demanded that she hand over the money from the cash register, as well as the money from the currency exchange desk operating within the same premises.

After taking an unknown amount of money, the suspect fled the scene.

Police officers attended the scene to conduct examinations, while the case is being investigated by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
