Cyprus Ambassador to Oman vows to work for enhancement of ties

New Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the Sultanate of Oman, Aghis Loizou, presented his credentials to the Sultan of Oman, Haitham Bin Tarik, on November 14 and pledged to work to deepen bilateral relations.

Ambassador Loizou conveyed to Sultan Haitham the warm greetings of the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, and referred to the excellent level of bilateral relations, a Ministry of Foreign Affairs press release issued here today says.

He underlined his commitment to work to further deepen them and expressed gratitude for the warm friendship that the Government of Oman has shown towards Cyprus over time.

Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik returned the warm greetings to President Christodoulides and referred to the trip to Cyprus prior to his proclamation as Sultan.

He expressed his satisfaction for the excellent bilateral relations between Cyprus and Oman and his will to further strengthen and deepen them.
