A three-month-old infant was found dead on Monday (2/3) in Limassol, authorities reported.
Circumstances of discovery
According to sources, the parents put the baby to sleep the previous night and discovered the child unresponsive the following morning.
The infant was immediately rushed to Limassol General Hospital, where doctors on duty confirmed the death.
Cause of death pending
The exact cause of death will be determined following a formal autopsy.
The police are investigating the case as a sudden infant death and have not reported any signs of foul play at this stage.
