The right lane of the Nicosia-Limassol motorway towards Limassol remains closed near Agios Tychonas following a crash between two vehicles at around 09:00 on Wednesday morning.
Traffic disruption and lane reopening
Both vehicles initially blocked the motorway, temporarily closing both lanes. One vehicle has been moved off the road, allowing the left lane to reopen to traffic. Authorities continue efforts to remove the second vehicle.

Police are at the scene providing assistance, managing traffic, and conducting investigations. Drivers are urged to proceed with caution, maintain safe distances, and follow the instructions of on-site officers.
Medical attention
An ambulance attended the scene to transport one occupant from the vehicles to hospital for medical checks. The person’s condition has not been specified.
