Weak low pressure affects the region
Weak low pressure continues to influence the area, bringing periods of cloud cover, local rainfall and dust suspended in the atmosphere.
Today’s weather
Today, the weather will be intermittently mostly cloudy, with local rain expected at times. Isolated thunderstorms cannot be ruled out. Winds will blow from the northeast to southeast, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, and at times along windward coasts up to strong, 5 Beaufort. The sea will be slight to moderate. Temperatures will rise to around 19°C inland and along the coasts, and about 11°C in the higher mountainous areas.
Tonight
Tonight, conditions will remain mostly cloudy, with a chance of locally light rain. Winds will be mainly northeasterly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will remain slight to moderate. Temperatures will drop to around 10°C inland, 13°C along the coasts and about 4°C in the higher mountains.
Weekend outlook
On Saturday, the weather will be partly cloudy, with isolated showers possible, mainly in western areas and mountainous regions.
On Sunday and Monday, conditions will be mostly clear, although periods of increased cloud cover will occur. Temperatures are expected to rise slightly on Saturday and remain at similar levels on Sunday and Monday, staying above seasonal averages.
