Christodoulides-Erhürman meeting set for 24 February

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, will meet with the Turkish Cypriot leader, Tufan Erhürman on Tuesday, 24 February, at 11:00 a.m., under the auspices of the United Nations. The meeting follows prior coordination and fits within the dates proposed by the Greek Cypriot negotiator.

Advancing negotiations

According to the Government Spokesperson, “The meeting forms part of the ongoing effort to maintain the communication channel and to advance the process meaningfully, aiming for the resumption of substantive negotiations from where they were interrupted.”
