Former President of Supreme Court Georgios Pikis died at 87

Former President of the Supreme Court and former Judge of the International Criminal Court, Georgios Pikis, passed away today at the age of 87.

The news was announced by the Supreme Court in a statement, which said that “it is with profound sorrow that we learned of the death of the former President of the Supreme Court and former Judge of the International Criminal Court, Georgios M. Pikis”.

The announcement noted that Georgios M. Pikis was an eminent legal figure who served justice with integrity and dedication, making a decisive contribution to broadening the horizons of Cypriot justice.

In conclusion, the Supreme Court expressed its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased.
