Firefighters rescued two people trapped in their vehicles following a road collision in Kato Paphos. The Fire Service received the call at 19:05. A fire engine with a specialised rescue team from Paphos Fire Station rushed to the scene.
Firefighters assessed the situation and extricated the passengers from two different vehicles using specialist rescue equipment. They safely freed the two injured individuals and placed them on rescue stretchers to avoid further injury.
Ambulance Service crew then took over. They transported the injured to the Accidents and Emergencies Department at Paphos General Hospital for medical care and further checks.
Authorities investigate the crash causes. Temporary disruption occurred at the scene until rescuers completed the operation and removed the vehicles.
