Video leak: Cyprus seeks Europol aid

Police investigations into the video leak continue at an intensive pace following a video posted on social media last Thursday. Police spokesperson Vyron Vyronos stated that various police services and departments are assisting in the probe. Europol and other foreign countries have been asked to provide support into the video leak probe.

In a written statement, Vyronos clarified: “Regarding the progress of investigations into the social media video post last Thursday, police efforts proceed intensively.”

He added for clarification on his statements today: “In the context of the inquiry, various police services and departments are contributing, while assistance from Europol and other countries has been requested.”
