Dog rescued from 20-metre ravine in Paphos

The Fire Service rescued a dog from a ravine approximately 20 metres deep in the Paphos district.

According to a post on the platform X by Cyprus Fire Service Spokesperson Andreas Kettis, at 11:30 on Wednesday, the Paphos fire station responded with a team and a rescue vehicle to save a dog trapped in a ravine in the Agia Varvara area of Paphos.

After being rescued using specialised rescue equipment, the dog was handed over to its owner, added Mr. Kettis.
