Russia unleashed 293 unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) and 18 missiles in a drone attack against Ukraine during the night, the Ukrainian Air Force announced today.
Ukrainian anti-aircraft defences shot down 240 drones and seven missiles, per the Air Force’s Telegram update.
Ukrainian counterstrike on production
The Ukraine army simultaneously announced a successful attack on a drone manufacturing factory in the Rostov region of Russia.
“This unit’s destruction will reduce enemy drone production capacity and weaken the Russian aggressor’s ability to strike civilian targets on Ukrainian soil,” the army stated via Telegram.
