The fire in the Nicosia apartments was set maliciously, the Fire Service reports.
In a statement, it says:
“The investigation into the causes of the fire that broke out this morning in a ground-floor apartment of a two-storey building in Nicosia has been completed, in cooperation with the Police.
The source of the fire was located inside the apartment, at the main entrance area, and there are indications showing that the fire was set deliberately. The Police continue their investigation.”
