Mild skies ahead in this week’s Cyprus weather forecast

A weak area of low pressure is affecting the region, keeping the Cyprus weather forecast mostly fair over the coming days, with periods of increased cloud cover from time to time.

According to the Meteorological Service, today’s weather will be mainly clear, though locally increased cloud will appear at intervals. Winds will blow mainly south-westerly to north-westerly, light to moderate, at 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough.

Temperatures are expected to reach around 27°C inland, the south and east coasts, 25°C on the remaining coasts, and about 18°C in the higher mountains.

Tonight, skies will stay mostly clear. Winds will shift north-westerly to north-easterly, and south-easterly along the northern coast, remaining light at 3 Beaufort. The sea will be calm to slightly rough. Overnight lows will drop to 15°C inland, around 17°C along the coasts, and 9°C in the higher mountains.

From Tuesday through Thursday, the weather will stay mainly fine, though locally increased cloud is expected at intervals. Temperatures will remain steady, hovering close to the climatological averages for this time of year.
