Halkidiki: Dog shot dead in family’s yard by unknown attacker

Date:

A tragic and heinous incident was reported by a man through his personal Facebook account, where he revealed that his dog had been murdered by an unknown individual.

Specifically, as the man reported, the incident occurred in Arnaia, Halkidiki, when Lola, his dog, was found dead in the yard of their home. In his post, he stated that the atrocious act happened on the night of last Monday — between 21:00 and 00:00.

“They came into our yard and executed our Lola, a member of our family, in cold blood. A human being — at least that’s how we see them among us, as normal — got dressed, left their house, took their weapon, and came into our yard armed. They looked Lola in the eyes… And killed her. Lola will no longer run in our yard. She will not dig, she will not run through the grass she so loved. I will never again see her waiting for me in the yard when I arrive at the village,” the man wrote in a heart-rending post.

Seeking justice for Lola’s death, the man appeals to anyone who knows something to contact the family.

“I beg you, please help me. Help us. With any useful information about Monday night, between 9 and 12. Lola will not come back. They took her away from us. They deprived us of this wonderful creature. What we can do is ensure the guilty party is punished,” the post concludes.
