Registrations open for Radisson Blu International Marathon in Larnaca

Registration for the 7th Radisson Blu International Marathon begins on Thursday, 14 November, according to the organisers’ announcement. Participants will receive their race kits and route information at the Registration Centre, where materials are distributed again this year at the Multipurpose Social Welfare and Employment Centre of the Municipality of Larnaca.

The opening hours for the Registration Centre are noted as follows: Thursday, 14 November, from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm; Friday, 15 November, from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm; and Saturday, 16 November, from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The organisers specify that the Registration Centre is the only location where participants can collect their race numbers, the special timing chip, and all necessary equipment for the race. Additionally, collectors will find a wide range of official merchandise from the event.

With a record number of participants in the 42 km full marathon, which now includes over 800 runners, the Radisson Blu International Marathon in Larnaca is ready to welcome athletes from 85 countries. The event aims to offer runners the excitement of competition while also promoting a sense of social responsibility and humanity through various activities, as stated in the announcement.

The race programme on Sunday will begin with the main marathon route (42.195 km), the half marathon route (21.095 km), and the 10 km road race, followed by the 5 km road race and the 5 km corporate race.

The day will conclude with the 1 km Fun Race for adults and the 1 km McDonald’s™ Kids Race, an event designed to encourage children to embrace a healthy lifestyle by combining fun with exercise, the announcement concludes.
