Bitcoin surpasses $90,000 for the first time

Bitcoin has today surpassed the $90,000 threshold for the first time, as the globally recognised cryptocurrency continues its impressive rise following Donald Trump’s victory in the U.S. presidential election. Trump is considered more supportive of cryptocurrencies compared to Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, and the market anticipates a more lenient regulatory approach under the new Trump administration.

Bitcoin exceeded the $90,000 mark at around 16:30 Cyprus time, reaching above $91,000 before closing shortly afterward with a 2.66% increase at $90,670.
