Smart tourism guide launched in Paralimni-Deryneia

Date:

An interactive touchscreen featuring a digital tourism guide has been installed inside the Paralimni–Deryneia Town Hall.

According to an announcement by the Paralimni–Deryneia Municipality, this is a pioneering platform—the first of its kind in a public space in Cyprus—offering tourists and visitors instant access to information on beaches, museums, hotels, restaurants, activities and more, through interactive pages, photos, videos, and live updates.

The platform is expected to expand soon to tourist hotspots across the municipality, further enhancing visitor experience and strengthening connections with local businesses.

Paralimni–Deryneia Mayor Giorgos Nikolettos expressed his satisfaction with the initiative, emphasising that such innovative solutions upgrade the tourism offering, showcase the region’s unique identity in a modern way, and create new momentum for the local economy by connecting tourists directly with businesses.

The platform is being developed by SARESI LTD with the support of the Paralimni–Deryneia Municipality.
