A recall has been issued for the replacement of the passenger-side Takata airbag in CITROËN vehicles.
The Department of Road Transport has announced that, according to information received from CIC Automasters, the manufacturer CITROËN has recalled the following vehicles, listed by registration and chassis number:
- MMX462 – Chassis No.: VF7SC8HP4CA594616
- NEZ628 – Chassis No.: VF7SC8HP4CA591438
- NMY427 – Chassis No.: VF7SC8HP4CA592449
- MPA644 – Chassis No.: VF7SA5FS9AW561856
- NHN842 – Chassis No.: VF7SA8FP0DW504159
An IMMEDIATE IMMOBILISATION order has been issued to the owners of the above vehicles.
As a result, the Department of Road Transport has revoked the roadworthiness certificates for these vehicles.
Given the above, owners are urged to contact the official distributor, which in Cyprus is CIC Automasters, for further instructions.
