The four candidates for the presidency of SYRIZA-PS have agreed to hold a debate. According to party sources, the details and duration have been set, and the only remaining step is to finalise the date with ERT for when the debate will take place.
The candidates expected to participate in the debate include:
- Pavlos Polakis: A prominent SYRIZA MP and former Minister of Health, known for his outspoken views and active role in party politics.
- Sokratis Famellos: Serving as the party’s parliamentary spokesperson, Famellos has been a key figure in SYRIZA’s legislative activities.
- Nikolas Farantouris: A Member of the European Parliament (MEP) with a background in law and economics, bringing a European perspective to the leadership race.
- Apostolos Gletsos: An actor and former mayor, Gletsos offers a unique blend of cultural and political experience.
Additionally, it was announced that tomorrow at 15:00, the SYRIZA Political Secretariat will convene for the first time since the party congress and the resignation of Stefanos Kasselakis.
