FIFA Club World Cup 2025 draw on 5 December in Miami

Date:

The highly anticipated draw for the inaugural 32-team FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ will take place in Miami on 5 December 2024 at 13:00 local time (19:00 CET). The event will be broadcast live worldwide on FIFA.com, FIFA+, and other platforms, allowing fans across the globe to see the matchups for this expanded tournament hosted in the United States from 15 June to 13 July 2025.

All 32 clubs participating in the tournament will be confirmed by the time of the draw, with the final spot to be claimed on 30 November during the historic CONMEBOL Libertadores final, an all-Brazilian showdown between Clube Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas in Buenos Aires. This match will determine South America’s last representative, adding further excitement as Botafogo seeks its first Libertadores title, while Atlético Mineiro aims to repeat its 2013 triumph.

In preparation for this landmark competition, FIFA recently announced the 12 stadiums across the U.S. that will host the matches. Inter Miami CF has been confirmed as the host representative, with Seattle Sounders FC set to play its group stage games at Lumen Field. The tournament’s opening match will be held at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, and Hisense has been introduced as the tournament’s first sponsor at an event in Shanghai.

As anticipation builds, fans can register for ticket and hospitality information on FIFA.com/tickets, with further details on the draw procedures to be released soon on FIFA’s Media Hub and official site. The FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ promises to be the most inclusive and merit-based global club competition to date, marking a new era for club football worldwide.
