Temperatures hit 35°C today as heat builds

A warm air mass is currently affecting the region, bringing a noticeable rise in temperatures and mainly clear skies over the coming days. Inland areas are expected to reach 35°C today, and the upward trend is set to continue until Saturday, with temperatures rising well above seasonal averages.

Detailed weather forecast:

Today, the weather will be mostly clear. Winds will initially blow mainly north-westerly to northerly, light to moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort, later shifting to south-westerly to north-westerly at the same strength. Seas will be slightly rough.

Temperatures will rise to around:

  • 35°C inland
  • 28°C on the west coast
  • 30°C on the other coastal areas
  • 25°C in the higher mountains

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear. Winds will blow mainly north-westerly to north-easterly, light and occasionally moderate at 3 to 4 Beaufort. Seas will remain slightly rough.

Overnight temperatures will drop to:

  • 22°C inland and on the coast
  • 14°C in the higher mountains

Looking ahead to Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, the weather will remain predominantly clear. Temperatures will continue to rise, remaining well above the average for the season.
