Fire breaks out at Limassol school as tyres burned

A fire broke out on Thursday morning in the yard of Ayia Fyla Gymnasium in the Limassol district, causing alarm among staff and students.

According to initial reports, a group of students is believed to have set fire to a number of tyres, prompting concern and a response from the authorities.

Fire Service spokesperson Andreas Kettis stated that a fire engine was dispatched to the scene to extinguish the blaze.
