4.1 magnitude earthquake hit west of Falasarna in Crete

An earthquake measuring 4.1 on the Richter scale occurred at 05:17, at a distance of 328 km south-southwest of Athens. According to the Geodynamic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the epicentre of the tremor was located in the sea area 106 km west-southwest of Falasarna.
