18-year-old wanted in Paphos for violent assault on elderly women

Police in Paphos are investigating a serious assault that left an 81-year-old woman hospitalised.

An 18-year-old suspect is wanted in connection with the incident, which also involved the victim’s 63-year-old daughter.

The attack occurred in Tremithousa on Monday afternoon following an apparent dispute. The older woman sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the Emergency Department at Paphos General Hospital, where she remains under care.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect’s arrest.
