The Cyprus Police are currently investigating a report concerning the alleged sexual abuse of a five-year-old girl in a coffee shop in the region of Paphos. The incident allegedly occurred on Easter Monday. According to the report being examined by the authorities, the alleged perpetrator, identified as a Greek Cypriot, purchased sweets for the child and subsequently engaged in indecent acts against her in the presence of other individuals.
According to the same sources, the incident was reported to the Police by regular costumers of the coffee shop who were eyewitnesses.
The complaint is currently being investigated by the Headquarters Division of the Cyprus Police, while the individual accused has not yet been arrested.
