Educational visit of the Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers’ School of HAGS to IDE

Students from the Permanent Non-Commissioned Officers’ School (NCO) of the Hellenic Army General Staff (HAGS), specializing in Telecommunications, accompanied by staff officers of the School, conducted a two-day educational visit to the production facilities of INTRACOM DEFENSE (IDE), to gain knowledge of modern technology related to their field. In this context, IDE had the honor of welcoming the Commander of the School, Brigadier General Grigorios Garoufalias, accompanied by the Director of Studies, Colonel Theophylaktos Telligiannidis.

The Permanent NCO School provides its students with the necessary military training, building their personality and skills, with the aim of developing and improving their professional competence so they can effectively meet their operational requirements. Thus, within the framework of IDE’s contribution to the Armed Forces of the country, the students of the School visited the company’s laboratories and attended the assembly and testing procedures for electronic boards and systems, construction of complex wiring and assembly of complex electromechanical systems. Moreover, they were briefed on the various processes applied during the production and certification of the company’s products.
