Two more traffic cameras at Limassol fatal crash site

Date:

As of today, Tuesday, two new cameras of the traffic enforcement system are being put into operation in Limassol, strengthening road safety measures.

The cameras have been installed at the traffic light-controlled junction of Nikos Kranidiotis Avenue and Agia Anastasia Street in Polemidia. They will record violations such as running a red light, crossing the white line, and excessive speeding. It is worth noting that this location was the site of the New Year’s Day accident in 2024, which claimed the lives of four people and shocked the entire island.

With the activation of these two cameras, the installation of all fixed cameras within the traffic enforcement system is now complete.
