The women’s National Team faces Georgia in the Nations League

Date:

The Women’s National Football Team will face Georgia tonight at 19:00 at AEK Arena as part of the 2nd matchday of the 2025 Nations League.

According to the CFA, the national team comes from a 2-1 victory over Malta, while Georgia celebrated a win with the same score against Andorra.

The match will be broadcast live on Cytavision, and entry for the public is free, with tickets available at the entrance upon presentation of a fan card.

Cyprus and Georgia are competing in Group 2 of League C, alongside Malta and Andorra, who will also face each other today.

As Renos Dimitriades told the players, every match comes with demands, especially in home games. A new positive result would strengthen the team’s effort for a leading role in the group against a team they previously faced in the qualifying phase of the 2024 European Championship.

Maria Matthaiou, Konstantina Kouzali, Georgia Katsonouri (goalkeepers), Andri Violari, Maria Panayiotou, Eirini Michail, Steffi Harty, Andriana Tsoukkas, Elena Michail, Marilia Konstantinou, Marilena Georgiou, Philippa Savva, Andria Kousik, Korina Paola Adamu, Chrystalla Charalambous, Chara Charalambous, Thekla Andreou, Andria Efstratiou, Euthalia Siakalli, Loukritia Chrysostomou, Chryso Michail, Maria Astaniou, Sara Papadopoulou.
